  Besides standard GigE camera families, GEViCAM is specialized on hardware neural network implementation to make GigE Vision cameras smart and stand alone intelligent sensors, which can communicate via high speed network. GEViCAM smart cameras are completely different from traditional CPU controlled or embedded DSP smart cameras. It learns just like human brain and does not use CPU or micro controllers inside the camera at all.

  GigE platform is critical for smart cameras even though they work as stand-alone most of time. However, once a smart camera detects reporting events such as defect, inspection error, surveillance incidents, etc., then it must keep sending multiple images without missing frame. In the case video data band-width must be high and GigE is the best platform for such smart cameras.
